Sports is originally what sparked Todd’s interest in nutrition, when he discovered how food can benefit performance, which lead to a deep passion of discovering the health benefits of food. DEB FELLOWES

Deb Fellowes is an Exercise Physiologist with over 25 years experience. She graduated from Central Queensland University with a Bachelor of Human Movement Science, and a second major in Occupational Health and Safety. She specializes in chronic pain and hydrotherapy, and has previously worked in multidisciplinary pain programs in the private and public sector, and provides services to WorkCover Qld and NSW, job networks, private insurers, Medicare, NDIS and Department of Veteran Affairs. Deb also has worked with a number of universities including Griffith, USQ and Bond.

Currently, Deb is interested in the impact and outcome of transcranial stimulation when treating fibromyalgia patients and optimising ECT outcomes. She continues to review current research and mental health interventions for daily implementation with her patients, with a focus on self compassion.

Outside of work, Deb is always up for talking about anything sport related. She is currently training for a 24 hour endurance walk to raise funds and awareness for support of returned veterans.

Sharon has been working in the health care industry for over 25 years.  After completing her General Nursing Training, Sharon worked locally at hospitals in Toowoomba and Oakey. She has worked extensively in areas of cardiac, respiratory, diabetic and medical nursing. During this time, Sharon completed her Bachelor in Nursing at the University of Southern Queensland and her Graduate Certificate in Diabetes Education and Management at the University of Technology Sydney.

More recently, Sharon has moved into the field of Diabetes Education and was instrumental in developing and delivering a Gestational Diabetes Education program to patients at St Vincent’s Hospital, Toowoomba.  For the last 12 months, Sharon has presented Diabetes Education Programs for People with Type 2 Diabetes in the local area. Sharon’s other special interest is Type 1 management which grew after her older son’s diagnosis with Type 1 as a toddler.
